Donations to PCM sustain and strengthen the quality of our music education programs. They not only keep tuition affordable, they also provide scholarships, create exciting cultural events, and bring music education to underserved populations throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

As a Friend or Benefactor, you will enjoy exclusive benefits in recognition of your generosity. Additionally, you will be joining donors who share a commitment and passion for music and music education.

Season sponsors promote the success of PCM’s oldest concert series, as well as PCM’s robust music education programs on and off campus. Sponsors also enjoy a variety of benefits, including concert tickets, priority mailings, invitations to exclusive events just for donors, and recognition in concert invitations and programs.

Donors who remember PCM in their estate plans, leave a gift that plays a lasting role in the future of PCM and makes a powerful impacts on the lives of future generations of music lovers.

Gifts can be made by check, credit card, and appreciated stock, as well as real estate. Additionally, many employers have matching gift programs; check with your employer to see if your gift is eligible for a match!

Do you have an IRA? Are you 70 ½ years or older? If so, you will need to take mandatory annual distributions that are subject to income tax. However, when you directly transfer IRA withdrawals to PCM (up to $100,000), you will not owe taxes on the distribution. This is an excellent way to continue supporting your favorite community music school while saving on your taxes!

For questions, or to receive instructions on how to make a gift of appreciated stock or an IRA withdrawal, please contact Melissa Froehlich, Director of Development, at 626.683.3355 or mfroehlich@pasadenaconservatory.org.

PCM is deeply grateful to the individuals, foundations, and organizations who support our ongoing programs through gifts to the annual fund, Mansions & Music, and outreach. This support enriches and creates more opportunities for you, our students and families, and other members of our community to study, perform, and enjoy music.

A number of community organizations who are passionate about music and the arts offer their support through event collaborations and in-kind contributions. PCM appreciates the opportunity to work with the following organizations and looks forward to exploring other partnerships in the coming years.
