Chamber Music
Instrumental students are eligible, by audition, to participate in the chamber music program. Chamber groups are formed for string players, wind players, brass players, pianists, and guitarists based on skill level and availability. Auditions occur once a year in the fall. All students accepted into the program must enroll for the entire school year and continue to study privately on their individual instruments. Students must also participate in PCM’s Chamber Music recitals.
Contact the office at 626.683.3355 to check on possible openings before filling out an application. Applications are available in the summer before the school year begins.
PCM is also home to the PCM Chamber Music Competition, one of the largest pre-collegiate chamber music competitions in the country.
