Vocal Arts

With an emphasis on classical music, the Vocal Arts Department prepares each student to achieve his or her vocal potential by teaching proper breath management techniques and contrasting repertoire.

Our Programs

We offer private lessons in 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90-minute lengths.

PCM Chamber Singers

The 10-minute audition will comprise of warm ups, vocal exercises, and sight singing.

PCM Chamber Singers is an amateur choir for mixed voices (SATB) that aspires to the highest levels of musicianship and performance standards.

This audition-based choir welcomes broad participation from the community. The repertoire is varied with a core of serious choral works.

Ernest Harrison, tenor, is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he received his master’s degree in choral conducting. Presently, Mr. Harrison is a graduate student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a doctoral degree in choral music. He studies choral conducting under Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe.
