This season, PCM presents three Musical Interludes concerts inspired by scenes and sounds from the natural world: Water, Night, and Forest.
This concert opens with quintessential night music – a pair of nocturnes by John Field and Frédéric Chopin. It also includes Olivier Messiaen’s chilling “Louange à l’Éternité de Jésus” from Quartet from the End of Time and Maurice Ravel’s monumental Gaspard de le nuit.
