PCM kicks off its Music & Film | Screening Series with Academy Award-winning, documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville’s The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble.

The film profiles celebrated cellist Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, which brings together master musicians from around the world to teach, collaborate, and perform. In The Music of Strangers, which The Hollywood Reporter calls “a first-rate music film capturing a restless desire to communicate beyond the boundaries of any single idiom,” Neville takes us on a global journey that will open your eyes and attune your ears.

The film also sets the stage for PCM’s upcoming Weekend with Wu Man residency!
