About Dr. Stephen Pierce
Dr. Stephen Pierce enjoys a varied career as a performer, teacher, presenter, clinician, and scholar. He serves on the keyboard studies faculty at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music where he oversees the secondary piano and keyboard pedagogy programs and teaches applied piano, and courses in piano pedagogy, and keyboard literature. He also teaches at Interlochen Arts Camp each summer, and privately in his home studio in Pasadena. Stephen is an RCM Academic Ambassador and member of the RCM College of Examiners. He is also CAPMT District 9 Director, CAPMT Collegiate Chapter state chair, and formerly CAPMT Vice President for Conferences, member-at-large for the South, and editor of CAPMT Connect.
As always, PCM considers the guidance of local, state, and federal public health agencies as well as best practices adopted in local schools and peer organizations. As such, we continue to strongly recommend indoor masking while on campus and, although it is no longer a requirement, we encourage all eligible students to be vaccinated, and all members of the PCM community to receive any boosters for which they are eligible.
