24/25 Musical Interludes | From the Natural World
Musical Interludes, the Pasadena Conservatory of Music’s (PCM) signature concert series, explores connections between music and literature, history, architecture, culture – and now, nature.
Join us for the 24/25 season, “From the Natural World,” to unplug and explore nature through music with three distinct programs: Water, Night, and Forest.
PCM faculty and friends will perform works that elicit a wide range of scenes and sounds – from tranquil to tempestuous, dreamy to macabre – by Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Beach, Field, Ravel, Messiaen, Price, Takemitsu, Schumann, and others. Programs will be hosted by KUSC’s Brian Lauritzen, also a member of the PCM faculty.
