Ryan Liddy, a 17 year old Baritone from Pasadena, attends Loyola High School. He has been studying classical voice with Mariné Ter-Kazaryan at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music for the last 7 years. Ryan has also been a chorister with the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus for 10 years and has performed in numerous professional productions, including LA Opera’s Carmen and Tosca. He has also performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic, appearing in Carmina Burana, Missa Solemnis, Leonard Bernstein’s Mass, A Trip to the Moon, and Industry Opera’s Galileo. Ryan was awarded Honorable Mention in Classical Voice by YoungArts (2022), is a two time Spotlight Classical Voice Semi-Finalist (2022 and 2023), and won first place in the Music Teachers’ Association of California orchestra competition (2022). In addition to his classical voice work, he is an avid classical jazz pianist and has performed in several musicals with Theater 360 and Mayfield Senior School. Ryan plans to pursue his passion for music by studying classical voice at USC Thornton School of music next year. He is honored to be singing for all of you today.
