Raised in Altadena, Lissette Lorenzana is a senior at California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley in the Instrumental Music Conservatory piano studies program. She has been studying piano with Dr. Vatché Mankerian at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music for 6 years. Her first piano lessons were taught by Ms. Nora de la Torre beginning in 4th grade. She enjoyed her first Masterclass with Éva Polgár this year. Lissette’s repertoire includes Bach, Kabalevsky, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Beethoven. She will be attending California State University, Fullerton in the fall where she will pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in entertainment art/animation with minors in film and music.
