Damian Chagoya is a high school senior in the Visual Arts Conservatory at the California School of the Arts, San Gabriel Valley. He has been attending there since the eighth grade and will graduate in June 2023. He began his musical journey at the age of four months in the Young Musicians Program at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. He has been going strong ever since. He began his violin instruction under Dorthy Kwon at age eight, in September of 2013. He is a sculptor and a gaming enthusiast and he would like to pursue a career in prosthetics design or facial reconstructive surgery. He will attend the School of Engineering at the University of California, Merced as a Bioengineering major in the fall.
