Pasadena Conservatory of Music students are warmly invited to Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s Salon with composer Dai Wei to learn about how Wei is approaching creating a new symphonic work for LACO. Praised by the New York Times as “impassioned” and celebrated by The Washington Post for her “singular voice,” Wei will share about her journey to become a composer, perform excerpts of past work, and preview what she hopes to create next.
