Written by Adam Guettel, The Light in the Piazza is a Tony award winning tale of sun-drenched Italy and an exploration of romantic and maternal love. Even though Mr. Guettel is a composer who can boast a family lineage that includes Richard Rogers, he is not broadly known, making this romantic musical an exciting find.
