Ahmet Türkmenoğlu
Ahmet started playing music when he was 11 years old, and completed his high school education at the Guitar department of Istanbul Fine Arts, starting on classical guitar. He received my music degree from Bass Guitar and Double Bass departments of Bilgi University, and performed and recorded with many artists in venues and festivals both in Turkey and overseas.
He moved to Los Angeles in August 2012 when he was accepted into the graduate certificate program of University of Southern California (USC).
Since then, Ahmet has been chosen for performances and recordings with a wide variety of musical artists, including Grammy-nominated composer, arranger and pianist Otmaro Ruiz, Lee Ritenour, Stanley Jordan, Alan Pasqua, Bob Mintzer, Peter Erskine, Russell Ferrante, Jimmy Branly, Ndugu Chancler, Patrice Rushen, Alphonso Johnson, Vince Mendoza, Darek Oles, Jason Goldman, and countless others.
