Introduction
The Pasadena Conservatory of Music provides opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to learn, perform, and enjoy music. Founded in 1984, the Pasadena Conservatory of Music is a nationally-accredited community music school that offers a wide range of programs, including individual and group instruction, music history courses, masterclasses, summer camps, workshops, and concerts.
Each year, the Conservatory presents 200+ performances. More than 1,000 students attend the school annually and over 3,000 students in schools throughout the Pasadena Unified School District benefit from its extensive community engagement programs.

Accreditation
PCM is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. It also belongs to the National Guild for Community Arts Education and is a member of the Pasadena Arts Council. It hosts a vibrant outreach program and provides master classes, guest-artist recitals, and concerts for the Pasadena community and beyond.

PCM is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for advisers and former board members to participate and engage with PCM and support the future goals of our school. Members of the advisory council assist in the achievement of the Conservatory’s strategic goals by serving as ambassadors for the school and providing counsel. Emeritus board members are former board members who also assist the Conservatory in achieving its strategic goals.
