Natalie Brejcha
Accomplished violist, violinist and fiddler, Natalie F. Brejcha loves to explore and present many different styles of music, ranging from traditional classical music all the way to American Folk, improvised, and new experimental sound works. Described by the LA Times as “A bright eared, sensitive performer that seemed to breathe the air of other worlds.”
Natalie has spent much of the last 30 years dedicated to performing chamber music in small ensembles like her experimental band Unincorporated NFP, as well as working as a freelance violist, violinist and mandolinists all over the West Coast. She is a proud member of the viola section of the Juneau Symphony.
Natalie has performed and recorded with many popular artists including Elton John, Rod Stewart, Sarah McLachlan, Michael McDonald, Earth, Wind and Fire, and David Foster while working as a freelance violist, violinist and mandolinists all over the West Coast.
She received her classical training in her hometown of Kansas City at the Conservatory of Music at University of Missouri-Kansas City and her MFA Degree from California Institute of the Arts.
A passionate educator and Suzuki Violin and Viola teacher, Natalie has a studio of awesome students who love performing locally in both classical and fiddle settings. She is also currently on the faculty for the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute.
