Mansions & Music Prelude: An Afternoon of String Quartets

Join the Pasadena String Quartet for an exclusive preview of their upcoming Mansions & Music concert, featuring Italian Serenade by Hugo Wolf and String Quartet in B-Flat Major, Op. 67 by Johannes Brahms.

From 7 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy a wine and cheese reception in Kelly Library, followed by the prelude – part open rehearsal, part lecture-demonstration – in Barrett Hall. Members of the quartet will share insights into the pieces, offer historical context, and offer biographical background on the composers. A nightcap in Kelly Library concludes the evening.
