Young Artist Competition is new and improved for the 2023 – 2024 Season!
We are expanding our competition to include two divisions:

• A Senior (or Open) Competition for performers from 14 through 26 years of age, and
• A Junior Competition for performers from 13 through 18 years of age.

The Senior competition winner will be awarded a solo performance with our orchestra and a $1,000 cash prize (this is an increase from our $500 prize in prior years).

The Junior competition winner will be awarded a solo performance with our orchestra and a $500 cash prize.

Deadline for applications are:

Junior Division is January 6, 2024 and it must include a video submittal for the first round (please see rules and the application for more information),

Senior Division is January 20, 2024

Auditions and the final round will be in-person at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music’s Barrett Hall on February 3, 2024

Winners will perform with the Orchestra at the May 10, 2024 concert
