Crystal Jasso
Crystal Jasso has her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach on voice. She also has her associates degrees in Early Childhood Education, Social Behavioral Science and Minored in Child Development and Family studies giving her a rich background for working with children and adults that are still a child at heart!
She has performed in musical theatre productions of Hairspray, Young Frankenstein, and In the Heights at Pasadena City College under Karen Benjamin Chapman and has also studied Vocal Jazz under Mary Durst.
In the area of Early Music Education she has her Music and Movement certificate from Pasadena City College. She has been a long standing sub for the Young Musicians Program here at PCM and she proudly ran presentations of PCM’s and Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts’ Music Mobile program which brought the instruments of the orchestra to elementary aged students at schools all over the Pasadena area. Crystal has also been a familiar face here at PCM as she has also stage managed for PCM since 2015.
Her passion for music and community keeps her pursuing ways to share her love of music with others. She looks forward to being the Ukulele Adult Studies instructor.
