Originally from San Francisco, Nadine Hall started the cello in her public school music program. She holds a Master’s Degree in performance from The University of Southern California, where she studied with Gabor Rejto. She was a student of Orlando Cole at the New School of Music in Philadelphia, earning her Bachelor of Music. Other influential teachers include Ron Leonard, Stephen Geber, and, as a freshman at Stanford University, Bonnie Hampton. Ms. Hall was the recipient of outstanding chamber music awards at The Music Academy of the West and Blossom Music Festivals, as well as Pi Kappa Lambda honors at USC.

A current member of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, the Los Angeles Master Chorale Orchestra, and the Pasadena Symphony, Ms. Hall has been a member of or performed with virtually every major Los Angeles area orchestra, including the Long Beach, Pacific, and Santa Barbara Symphonies, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. She played several seasons with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and with them toured Europe, Asia, Mexico and the United States. Other orchestral highlights include touring Europe and the Western US with the Utah Symphony as well as playing a year with the Honolulu Symphony.

Ms. Hall has spent many summers performing in music festivals around the West, including those in Sunriver Oregon, San Luis Obispo, and Boulder Colorado. She has played on soundtracks for the motion picture industry as well as with numerous live acts, live television, musical theater and ballet.

An alumna of the Early Childhood Music Education program at Pasadena City College, Ms. Hall continued to develop the course and for ten years taught the introductory class in that subject at PCC. She has been a volunteer cello teacher in her local public elementary school, and currently helps coach at the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra.
