Daphne Trager is a local dancer with over 45 years of experience teaching dance to adults and children. For the last 19 years she has taught Creative Movement, Folk Dancing and the Elements of Dance at Walden School in Pasadena. She has also taught Ballroom at Caltech, Creative Movement at ARC Pasadena, yoga and Pilates at numerous locations, and water exercise at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center. Daphne has studied the Lewitzky technique of Modern Dance for over 22 years, and has trained extensively in ballet at Pasadena Dance Theatre, tap, jazz, hula, folk and ballroom dance. She is certified in Orff Schulwerk, Mat Pilates, and Water Therapy for Arthritis. Daphne is a graduate of Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts with a degree in Art History and has an extensive background in classical piano.
