Conservatory Artist Teacher Scott Tennant, guitar faculty*, and PCM’s LAYGO (Los Angeles Youth Guitar Orchestra) will present an exciting program that includes Tonadilla by Joaquin Rodrigo, “Winter” from Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 by J.S. Bach, Rumba by Stepan Bak, among other pieces.

Proceeds from ticket sales and donations to this event will help support PCM’s guitar department programs, which provide meaningful musical opportunities and experiences for talented young guitarists.

This past June, LAYGO traveled to Stuttgart, Germany, for PCM’s first cultural exchange program. In October, guitar students participated in a master class with legendary guitarist Pepe Romero. These are just two examples of how PCM’s guitar department helps shape the musical development of its students. With your help and the increased support from our community, PCM’s guitar students and their families look forward to more performances, master classes, and touring opportunities in the coming year.

*PCM guitar faculty: Brian Barany, Felix Bullock (department chair), David Margolis, Adam Pettit, and Connie Sheu.
