Facility Rental

The Pasadena Conservatory of Music has several spaces available for rent. While our studios are available on an hourly basis, our recital spaces may be rented for a minimum of four hours and up to eight hours. A security deposit is required for all rentals.

To begin the process of reserving one of our spaces for your event, fill out a facility rental inquiry form and you will be contacted by the Event Coordinator.

Policies

Spaces are available to rent when not in use by Conservatory programs. As a rule, weekday afternoons and evenings are our busiest time and spaces are typically not available for rent. Weekday mornings and weekends generally have more availability. Making a reservation with several months advance notice will allow you the greatest flexibility and choice of spaces. Studios are not available for rent on a “drop-in” basis and must be reserved in advance for a set period of time.

Rental use requires a contract between the renting organization or individual and the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. We also require a certificate of liability insurance naming the Conservatory as additionally insured for all renting organizations, with additional insurance required if alcohol is served at an event. Fees will include a facility rental fee and a security deposit.

Rental fees include the use of Conservatory chairs, tables, and pianos (where applicable). Pianos may be tuned at the expense of the renting organization or individual, please call for more information. The Conservatory does not rent any audiovisual or sound equipment, nor do Conservatory personnel operate audiovisual equipment for renting organizations or individuals. All events held at the Conservatory are subject to approval by the Director of Operations.
